Mindful Weight
For a whole host of reasons, very few of us feel that the current weight of our bodies is ideal.  While some are below a healthy weight, a significant and growing number of us are well above a comfortable weight.  Being overweight impacts both our physical and psychological wellbeing.  For decades, experts have produced diets and exercise programmes that have helped people lose unwanted weight.  While a few of these programmes work wonders, many people are still seeking a solution to reducing their weight and keeping it off for the long-term.

The reality is that many of us simply eat too much; and eat foods that are not good for our particular bodily constitution.  Unconscious eating coupled with a largely sedentary lifestyle makes us overweight.  Solution: we must reconnect our minds to our bellies and relearn how to move our bodies with energetic freedom.

During your Personal Journey in Tanzania, you will be taken on an inspiring tour that helps you reignite your digestive fire, discover what it means to feel ‘full’ with life and not unnecessary calories, and relearn activities that make your body move well and feel good.  When you return home, you will have strong and clear ways to reconfigure your daily lifestyle and help you attain your perfect weight.

  Example Itinerary 
Day 1 - Arrival in Tanzania, overnight in Arusha town.
Day 2 - Arrival at Gibb’s Farm, Karatu, Tanzania.  First in-person meeting with personal healer.   Opportunity for massage with Maasai healers.
Day 3 - Day at Gibb’s Farm, walking in organic gardens and farm and talking about food with chef and cheese makers.  Meals can be taken in the privacy of your own cottage to afford you the time for conscious eating followed by short walks to aid digestion.  There is also an opportunity to try traditional Maasai medicinal soup that helps digestion.
Day 4 - You may embark on a “walk like a Maasai” safari where you walk with your personal healer discussing life stories along the way.  Depending on your level of fitness, the walk can be a hike on a mountain in Maasailand or a light trek. 
Day 5-7 - Today you depart for a visit to Lake Eyasi and Hadzabe bushmen communities.  Interacting and walking with some of the last hunter-gatherers left in this world presents you with a whole new perspective and appreciation for obtaining what we eat.  Overnights at tented camp.
Day 8 - Day at Gibb’s Farm to relax and reflect on current lifestyle and ways to make it healthier.

Extension options: Depending on your fitness level and interests extension options can include sportive activities such as hiking in primordial forests, wildlife game drives, and beach time in Zanzibar.
