Addictions
Somehow, the society in which we live is influencing more and more of us to become addicted to one thing or the other - alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, sex, the Internet. Having an addiction can be debilitating and you can lose important elements of your life - relationships, job, joy in life.

The Maasai believe that everybody is born with a propensity to favour consumption of a particular external stimulus so much that it becomes an unhealthy part of one’s life. During the time one gets initiated into adulthood, he or she must search deep down into the soul and reveal to his or her family guide the specific thing that will be a weakness throughout one’s life. Once this is identified, measures are taken to manage this addictive element of the personality and you are given support for maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

During your Personal Journey in Tanzania, you will be guided on an adventure to root out the source of your addictive behavior. Your personal healer will support you in your desire to free yourself from an addiction and provide you with tools to maintain balance upon your return to home.
